Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Cyber team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The Regional Cyber team is a diverse, multinational employees responsible for the development, placement, and servicing of Cyber business throughout the MENA region. The team collaborates closely with Marsh’s regional organization, its extensive retail network, and other global Cyber hubs to provide specialist client servicing capabilities, world-class product solutions, and access to local markets. As a Senior Cyber Broker, you will play a vital role in driving growth within the Placement team by managing strategic marketing efforts on new, renewal, and prospective accounts.

We will count on you to:

  • Demonstrate technical understanding of Cyber Insurance and Technology Professional Indemnity, along with knowledge of Directors & Officers and Crime insurance coverages.
  • Develop product and territorial development plans as part of the wider Cyber team.
  • Identify and actively pursue potential new business opportunities.
  • Develop placement strategies to ensure the best deals for clients and manage the execution of these strategies.
  • Identify potential referral sources and develop relationships through personal contact and presentations of the practice’s resources.
  • Qualify prospects based on the practice’s guidelines for new business.
  • Generate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other Marsh products and services, with a focus on Marsh Cyber Advisory.
  • Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance marketplace to review clients’ exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for complex client needs.
  • Determine the impact of solutions and clearly articulate their value to clients.
  • Understand the nuances of clients’ industries and related risks, providing tailored advice accordingly.
  • Receive and analyze quotes from carriers, providing clients with detailed analysis including pricing, coverage, services, quote comparisons, commentary, recommendations, identification of differences against expiring policies and subjectivities, and benchmarking against regional and international standards.
  • Manage policy administration including follow-up on policies and binders, review of policies against bound terms and conditions, request corrections if necessary, and ensure delivery of reviewed policies to clients. Be available to review policies with clients when needed.
  • Manage the proposal process and participate in proposal meetings as applicable.
  • Maintain data integrity within the client management system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by working closely with colleagues and clients.

What you need to have:

  • 3 to 5+ years of broking experience in financial lines or a similar background.
  • Relevant college or university degree is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong technical, financial, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-start, independently initiate new opportunities, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships both internally and with clients.
