Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure project success.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors for seamless project progression.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction industry standards at all project sites.
• Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to plans as necessary to meet project goals.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive management and stakeholders.
• Negotiate contract terms with vendors and subcontractors to ensure favorable project terms.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize project efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate completed projects for effectiveness, capturing lessons learned for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management is essential.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage diverse project teams effectively.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex project challenges.
• Proficient in project management software and tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Certification such as PMP or CCM is highly desirable and an added advantage.
