Senior Conference Producer – Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, agile business creating highly tailored, flagship industry events recognised as leading platforms across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region. Our events connect senior decision-makers, innovators, and organisations shaping the future of their industries.

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Conference Producer, or an experienced Conference Producer ready for the next step, to take ownership of developing and delivering market-leading B2B confexes.

The role involves leading research, content strategy, agenda development, senior speaker acquisition, and stakeholder engagement while identifying new opportunities to grow established event brands.

The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, confident engaging with C-level executives, highly organised, and passionate about creating world-class industry programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Programme Development

  • Lead in-depth industry research to identify market trends, business challenges, developments, and emerging opportunities for new launches and growth of existing portfolio events
  • Own the development of commercially successful conference agendas, formats, and event concepts aligned with market needs
  • Create high-impact programmes that attract senior decision-makers, sponsors, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Identify key industry themes, disruptive trends, investment areas, and future market opportunities
  • Conduct detailed competitor analysis and market mapping across buyer and seller ecosystems
  • Build a strong understanding of industry value chains to identify commercial opportunities and audience growth areas
  • Lead the identification and development of speaker, advisory board, and VIP delegate strategies
  • Research and build senior-level industry networks


Speaker Acquisition & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify, approach, negotiate, and secure high-profile C-suite speakers, government representatives, and industry leaders
  • Take ownership of speaker acquisition strategies and achieve agreed speaker confirmation targets across multiple events
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior executives, advisors, associations, partners, sponsors, and key industry influencers
  • Lead speaker communications from invitation through to onsite delivery
  • Maintain accurate speaker pipelines, invitation trackers, and production reporting systems
  • Ensure agendas are continuously updated with confirmed speakers, session structures, and strategic content improvements
  • Oversee the collection of speaker bios, headshots, presentations, and documentation within required timelines
  • Ensure websites and marketing platforms reflect accurate speaker and programme information
  • Manage speaker requirements including:
    • Session positioning
    • Content alignment
    • Travel and logistics coordination
    • Licensing documentation
    • Onsite participation requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive speaker briefing materials covering objectives, audience expectations, logistics, and session outcomes
  • Ensure speakers, moderators, and panellists are fully prepared ahead of the event
  • Lead Meet the Panel briefing sessions and ensure high-quality session delivery standards

Advisory Board Development & Management

  • Build and manage senior-level advisory boards to strengthen event credibility and market relevance
  • Identify and secure influential industry leaders to provide strategic input into event direction
  • Lead advisory board outreach, communication, meeting planning, and follow-up activities
  • Drive targeted advisory board attendance through structured engagement campaigns
  • Capture advisory board feedback and translate market insights into stronger agendas, commercial opportunities, and audience strategies
  • Maintain accurate stakeholder records and develop long-term advisory relationships


Event Project Ownership

  • Take full ownership of assigned event portfolios from concept development through to delivery
  • Manage production timelines, milestones, and key deliverables across multiple events
  • Work collaboratively with sales, sponsorship, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to achieve event objectives
  • Ensure all agenda development, speaker acquisition, and content milestones are delivered on time
  • Proactively identify challenges and provide solutions throughout the production cycle
  • Maintain exceptional standards of organisation, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Support onsite event delivery, speaker management, and content quality control
  • Contribute ideas for new event launches, formats, partnerships, and growth opportunities


Marketing & Website Coordination

  • Work with marketing teams to develop strong audience engagement and promotional campaigns
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing briefs
  • Provide compelling content to support email campaigns, social media, PR, and audience acquisition
  • Ensure event websites remain accurate, engaging, and commercially positioned
  • Review and improve agenda & speaker promotions, and event communication
  • Identify strong content stories and announcements to increase market engagement


Commercial & Sponsorship Support

  • Work closely with sponsorship and delegate teams to support revenue growth and commercial objectives
  • Develop commercially attractive agendas that align audience needs with sponsor priorities
  • Produce detailed sponsorship intelligence briefs
  • Provide regular market updates, new opportunities, and stakeholder intelligence to sales teams
  • Identify potential sponsors, partners, VIP delegates, and strategic relationships through research activity
  • Create conference content that supports audience growth, sponsorship value, and event profitability
  • Contribute directly to portfolio growth through innovation, market knowledge, and commercial awareness


Team Support & Mentoring

  • Provide guidance and support to junior producers, helping develop their research, agenda creation, speaker acquisition, and stakeholder management skills
  • Share best practices, industry knowledge, and feedback to help improve team performance and content quality
  • Support junior team members in managing priorities, overcoming challenges, and meeting project deadlines
  • Lead by example by maintaining high standards of organisation, communication, and commercial awareness across the production team
