Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Oversee project planning, design, and execution stages to ensure alignment with goals.
• Conduct site surveys, assessments, and inspections for project verification.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and contracts documentation.
• Interface with clients to discuss project objectives, negotiate contracts, and provide updates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to optimize design efficiency.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues for proactive management.
• Drive sustainable engineering practices that minimize environmental impact.
• Prepare detailed project reports, documents, and deliverables for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is essential.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering projects management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for this position.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and additional relevant engineering software.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding engineering teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and large-scale project delivery.
