Role Overview

Café KIRA is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a section while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency according to Café KIRA's recipes and guidelines.
• Supervise, train, and support junior chefs, ensuring proper execution of daily tasks.
• Ensure all mise en place is completed accurately and on time for each service.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, stock rotation, and minimize food waste.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Support the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, inventory control, and ordering.
• Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and implementation of new dishes when required.
• Take responsibility for the section and ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Sous Chef.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior CDP or strong experience as a CDP in a reputable restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-volume premium dining establishment.
• Strong culinary knowledge, technical skills, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to independently manage a kitchen section and supervise junior team members.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to a dynamic kitchen environment.
