From that single workshop in Rostov-on-Don, we grew into a leading fast-fashion group with over 600 stores across Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, more than 7,000 employees, and over $1 billion in annual revenue. Now we have moved our headquarters to the UAE and are rebuilding the business for international growth, with the GCC and Southeast Asia as our first priority markets, alongside a fast-scaling e-commerce business and new categories in Home and Beauty. The role

The Senior Buyer takes full ownership of a key product category at Gloria Jeans, across men’s, women’s, teens, kids, accessories, beauty or home decoration. You own the category end to end — assortment, buying strategy, forecasts, orders and inventory, supplier relationships, and the product development calendar.

This is a fully based-in-Dubai role, with relocation required and international travel to factories and sourcing offices.

What you will own

• Develop and execute the buying strategy for your category, continuously analysing the business to build balanced, commercially sound collections.
• Own category assortment planning — range architecture, price tiers, and depth and breadth of the offer.
• Manage and grow a multi-country supplier base, travelling internationally to visit factories and sourcing offices.
• Negotiate pricing, costs and commercial terms with suppliers across your category.
• Monitor product development, fittings and quality through to bulk approval, working closely with design and technical teams.
• Forecast demand and manage in-season inventory, orders and re-orders to protect sell-through and margin.
• Track sales performance and KPIs by style, vendor and market to inform buying decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with design, merchandising, marketing, supply chain, retail and e-commerce teams.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years’ experience as a Buyer (not Merchandiser) within apparel or fashion retail, ideally with a recognised fast-fashion or donor brand.
• A genuine, formal Buyer track record — full ownership of assortment, budget and supplier relationships, not an adjacent or supporting function.
• Experience working at company headquarters, not solely in a regional or supplier-facing office.
• Proven supplier negotiation experience across international markets (Europe, Asia, Turkey).
• Strong analytical skills — comfortable with sales, margin and KPI analysis (Excel, PLM).
• Fluent English (C1); Russian or Spanish is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai and travel internationally.

What success looks like

Within the first year, your category delivers a well-balanced, commercially successful collection. The role will deliver:

• Category sell-through and margin in line with plan.
• A reliable, well-managed supplier base with improving cost, quality and delivery performance.
• On-time product development calendar, from concept to bulk approval.
• Accurate forecasting and inventory management, minimising stockouts and excess stock.
