Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Buyer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor management, and logistics. The candidate will work closely with our team to manage and negotiate contracts, develop and implement purchasing strategies, and analyze cost and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement processes to optimize quality, cost, and delivery.
• Manage and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Create and manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Oversee the operations and daily activities of the purchasing department.
• Use SAP for various procurement processes and RFQs.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Buyer in the Manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Proven experience in Vendor Management, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Forecasting, Logistics Management, Cost Analysis, Negotiation, Budgeting.
• Proficient in SAP and RFQs.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple project procurement simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
