Senior Audio Technician Heading The Audio Sub-department

This role involves:

• Overseeing, manage and operate the operations of all the Arena Audio Department equipment and comms equipment.
• Establishing control measures and due diligence to ensure Department compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) obligations.

Qualifications:

• High School/ Diploma or equivalent.
• Qualification in AV, in system design, Mixing consoles and RF Equipment.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 -10 years recent experience working with Line Arrays in the role of system technician working on Live Music Concerts & Live Events.
• High level experience in the equipment and systems for one more of the following disciplines: Audio Visual, Sound, Stage Lighting and or Rigging.
• Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Computer packages:

- Word

- Excel

- PowerPoint

- Outlook

- Access

- Auto CAD / Vectorworks

- Array Prediction sodftware (Soundvision, D&B Simulation software, JBL, LAC 3).

- Good knowledge of using and operating Digital mixing consoles like Digico, Avid, Yahama, Allen & Heath

- Experience with JBL Line Array System

- Ipath Certificate

• Good working knowledge of Clearcom/Riedel Coms systems, networking, RF & Digital Audio.
• Current working knowledge of Dubai and the entertainment/events industry.
• Knowledge, skills & technical experience in delivering all AV services, including equipment installation and operation.
• Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in events
• Fluent in English, written & spoken.
