Senior Architect (225-913)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative architectural projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. You will collaborate with diverse teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable and functional. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of all phases of architectural work, including planning, design, and construction. As a Senior Architect, you will be expected to manage multiple projects, provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects, and have the ability to clearly communicate complex design ideas to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications in all projects.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff.
• Develop and present design proposals and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure construction aligns with architectural designs.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver on time and within scope.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for developing architectural layouts and plans.
• Engage with clients to understand and interpret their architectural needs and aspirations.
• Research and integrate innovative and sustainable design concepts into projects.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports for all architectural projects handled.
• Participate in and contribute to design review meetings and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution required.
• Professional licensure as an architect is essential for this senior position.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other architectural design tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations in architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills are essential.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team towards achieving organizational goals.
