The purpose of this document is to describe the position of AFC/CCTV Senior Technician in the Keolis MHI organization. The missions and activities described below are not exhaustive and may evolve to better suit the needs of Keolis MHI.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the AFC Team Leader in carrying out specialist and level 3 above of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and modifications on AFC and CCTV systems covering automatic gates, ticket vending machines, ticket office machines, portable checking machines, entry exit terminals, parking payment machines, network devices, electrical panels, central and station server/workstations, indoor-outdoor cameras, enclosures, network video recorders, CCTV decoders in station, depots and car parks
• Install, service and reconfigure AFC and CCTV systems located in stations, depots and car parks;
• Assist AFC TL when required to perform complex fault analysis, technical investigations and overhauling on site/depot for AFC/CCTV systems;
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance work with the use of complex hand machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, schematics, manuals, procedures and work instructions;
• When required after proper training and certification work at height to maintain CCTV system using man lift, scissor lift, scaffold boom truck etc.
• Perform time sensitive fault diagnostics, functional tests and component replacement (repair in site or inside depot) on the AFC and CCTV systems;
• Suggest new ideas for improvement of various AFC and CCTV systems for the enhancement of life span and maintenance.
• Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records of AFC/CCTV system and equipment performance, work accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance management system;
• Assist the AFC Team Leader and/ or other technical support staff to implement complex systems or new projects;
• Ensure the maintenance tools & equipment are in good condition both before and after job activities and are documented in specified checklist as per departmental policies;
• Follow the relevant procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with Keolis-MHI Dubai Metro requirements;
• Perform roles necessary for the management of the safe system of works, including to meet tight maintenance schedules;
• Perform shift and emergency duties when required;
• Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the AFC Team Leader and other senior AFC maintenance staff;
• Ensure compliance with the Keolis-MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards
• Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis-MHI non-disclosure policy
• To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis-MHI organisational HSE responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis-MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment
• Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process
• Successfully achieve competency in AFC and CCTV sub systems as per Keolis-MHI competency Management System.
• To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working in Keolis-MHI’s controlled premises/systems;
• Promote a good SAE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties;
• Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager, Departmental Safety Meetings and any other appropriate available channels;
• Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based from all threats whether internal, external, deliberate or accidental;
  
  

• Good knowledge of complex tools for electrical/ electronic/ IT services.
• Ability to understand the use and calibrate various electronics test equipment and PC for the maintenance of AFC/CCTV system;
• Good in writing technical reports, prepare method statements and drawings as required;
• Able to update daily work progress through simple and detailed reports.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
• Should have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities;
• Hold a valid driving license with good driving skill and experience will be added advantage.
• Strong technical mind, and ability to grasp the complexity of AFC/CCTV design and functioning
  
  

• Minimum 2 years robust working knowledge in maintaining, installing, reconfiguring IP based CCTV system, Windows/Linux based server/workstation system, AFC machines (station, car park and central system) is required
• Prior experience in Windows/LINUX system administration, Routing/switching would be added advantage
  
  

• Vocational trade certificate/diploma/degree in electronics/ Computer science/information technology/electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent;
