Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• To Perform / Monitor day to day finance activities
• Sales Invoice booking
• Purchase Invoice booking
• Bank and Credit card Transactions booking
• Cash flow Management / Daily cash position
• Property Management (Rent Received, Expenses Paid, Revenue - Reconciliation)
• Supplier / Customer reconciliation
• Payable management
• Communication with operations department
• To perform month end activities
• Provision booking and reversal
• Prepaid booking and reversal
• Depreciation
• Bank and Credit card reconciliation
• Payment Gateway reconciliation
• To Close Monthly books of accounts in line with IFRS
• Knowledge of UAE VAT
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax
• Monthly MIS
• Finance process improvements
• Liaise with auditors.
  
  

• Proficient user of finance software (Oracle Fusion is an added advantage)
• Experience in Fintech / Proptech industry is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant or similar with 2-4 year experience
