Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger reconciliations
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting
  • Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
  • Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments schedules
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including aged receivables tracking
  • Process bank payments, supplier invoices, and employee expense reimbursements
  • Assist with preparation and submission of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings
  • Support external audit processes, including coordination and documentation
  • Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and process documentation
  • Contribute to ERP implementation projects, including testing and post-implementation support
  • Liaise with internal teams, banks, and external service providers to support finance operations
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as required
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

The Successful Applicant

  • Candidates must be currently based in the UAE
  • 3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience with MS Dynamics systems is mandatory
  • Exposure to VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and audit processes is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA, either completed or in progress
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
