Senior Accountant

They are seeking a commercially astute Senior Accountant to step into a true finance business partnering role, working closely with operational leaders and influencing key commercial decisions.

The Role

This 6 months Fixed Term Contract will be reporting into senior finance leadership. You will play a key role in connecting finance with operations as well as working closely with stakeholders across the business, providing insights that drive performance and support decision-making.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights, analysis, and decision support
• Support month-end close processes including P&L preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to support business performance and strategic decision-making
• Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and monitor cash management activities
• Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation and asset lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax obligations, including indirect tax reporting (e.g. BAS)
• Collaborate cross-functionally on payroll reporting and financial data integrity
• Support payment processes and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial systems
• Assist with internal and external audits, as well as ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance tracking
  
  

• CA or CPA qualified or working towards completion
• Experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role within a fast-paced environment
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with the ability to turn data into insights
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Proactive and adaptable with strong attention to detail
