The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the financial health and growth of an organization. As a member of the accounting team, this position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The Senior Accountant will also play an instrumental role in budgeting and forecasting, tax planning, and conducting financial audits. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by management.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely cash flow management.
• Oversee reconciliations of bank statements, credit accounts, and other financial accounts.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist in the development and management of the annual budgeting process.
• Support the tax planning and preparation activities to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Implement and manage internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit for necessary information.
• Update and maintain the company's accounting policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA can be a significant advantage.
• Minimum of five years of proven experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail are highly valued.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
