We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our accounting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the company.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and ensure that all balances are accurate and up to date.
  • Review and approve journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure their development and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to support financial requirements and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification highly preferred for this position.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff effectively.
