The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Account Director to join our team, helping us push the boundaries of social media advertising. As a Senior Account Director, you will act as the day-to-day conduit between our clients and the agency, ensuring the smooth running and management of one or more accounts. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day client relationships, ensuring business objectives are met through creative and strategic solutions, and championing the role of social and creative thinking in delivering effective, award-winning work.

This role sits at the heart of the Client Services team. You will lead the delivery of socially-led marketing solutions for the world's biggest brands, overseeing substantial portfolios, managing complex project timelines, and fostering a culture of excellence. You will steer strategic direction, provide robust creative judgment, and actively own the P&L for your accounts while supporting senior leadership on new business pitches.

Requirements

What You'll Have Delivered Elsewhere

• Social-First Expertise: Proven experience within a digital, social, or creative agency, demonstrating deep knowledge of industry trends, platform developments, and new technology to guide strategic direction.
• Creative Partnership: A track record of providing robust judgment and clear rationale on creative output across the project lifecycle, partnering effectively with creative teams from initial development to execution.
• Financial & Operational Oversight: Full financial responsibility for individual accounts, including detailed scoping, accurate monthly forecasting, and managing agency resource bookings with Creative Operations.
• Strategic Growth: A history of identifying and converting business development opportunities within existing accounts while safeguarding current project health and revenue.
• Stakeholder Influence: Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with day-to-day client stakeholders, knowing when to escalate to senior leadership for reassurance.
• Delivery Excellence: Proven ability to manage a substantial portfolio of accounts, ensuring all projects are delivered against agreed deadlines and budgets.
  
  

What Else Are We Looking For?

• Team Leadership & Development: Demonstrated experience providing on-going support, coaching, and development to Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Account Executives to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
• Culture Building: Experience fostering a culture of mutual respect, shared pride, and open collaboration within the team.
• Communication & Judgment: Ability to lead by example, ensuring team behavior reflects the agency's vision and values, and maintaining clear communication channels with senior leadership regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with other agency departments (Strategy, Creative, Ops) to drive effectiveness and innovation.
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in both Arabic and English is essential for this role.
