Security Guard

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team to help ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site, deterring any suspicious activities, responding swiftly to incidents, and maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. As a Security Guard, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, requiring strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. This role is crucial in maintaining peace of mind for our organization and all individuals within our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated premises to prevent intrusions and ensure security.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors to maintain safety.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation to prevent analysis.
• Provide a visible deterrent against crime and ensure a secure environment.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports of daily surveillance activities and any incidents observed.
• Assist in redirecting guests and managing ingress and egress of facilities.
• Enforce company policies as it pertains to the security and safety of the premises.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when emergencies or criminal incidents occur.
• Ensure all security systems, like cameras and alarms, are operating efficiently.
• Conduct security training sessions and drills for all employees as required.
• Maintain order among employees and visitors to prevent disturbances and unauthorized activities.
• Provide emergency response to medical or other critical incidents effectively.
