Security Guard

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises regularly to ensure safety and security are maintained.
• Control access to buildings and provide authorized entry to public areas.
• Respond promptly to security breaches or alarms and conduct thorough investigations.
• Report any suspicious activities or security incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Provide clear and concise communication during emergency situations to staff and visitors.
• Operate surveillance equipment to monitor activity and ensure property safety.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Escort guests and unauthorized personnel off the premises following security protocols.
• Assist with the development and implementation of security procedures and policies.
• Collaborate closely with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incidents and security breaches.
• Provide first aid or support in medical emergencies until professional help arrives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this security position.
• Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a related security role.
• Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security protocols is essential.
• Strong observational skills with an attention to detail and alertness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle prolonged periods of standing and patrolling.
• Valid first aid and CPR certifications are highly desirable for this role.
• Basic PC and report writing skills are necessary for maintaining security logs.
