Security Coordinator- Passport And Visa Verification Shift-based

Job Purpose

Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Centre, Hub Ops Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Assurance unit, and Business Support Unit, all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

As a Security Coordinator in the Group Security team, you will provide support for operational security matters to ensure compliance with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP), and the Security Management System (SEMS).

You will Collate record, analyse and assist in investigating, alerting and reporting all irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organizations Security Policy.

In This Role You Will

• Access information on inadmissible passengers and decide necessary action, keeping relevant departments informed which include coordination of flights, accommodation, deportation reports, liaising with the relevant authorities etc.
• Perform travel documents check on assigned flights and conduct behavioural analysis of all passengers to prevent acts of illegal immigration and unlawful interference.
• Liaise with the relevant Authorities (e.g. immigration, embassies and the police) throughout the network to prevent the carriage of inadmissible passengers.
• Support in the training of staff of Emirates and Ground Handling Agents to increase awareness of detecting and intercepting illegal immigration.
• Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date.
• Contribute in the review of standard operating procedures, contracts and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Have completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in security or a related field.
• Be able to communicate effectively and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be willing to work on a shift roster, including day and night shifts, in line with operational requirements.
