Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Center, Airport Security Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Compliance, Assurance & Regulation, and Business Support Unit—all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

As a Security Command Centre Manager - Emiratisation in the Group Security team, you will oversee the daily operations of the Security Command Centre, ensuring smooth workflows, timely incident response, effective communication, and execution of procedures. You will lead the coordination of the Command Centre, oversee the development and updating of security procedures, manage key projects, and support the team in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes

In This Role You Will

  • Manage day-to-day command centre operations and incident response, ensuring timely resolution of enquiries, effective communication, and implementation of corrective actions within agreed SLAs to reduce future risks.
  • Lead operational engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, airport authorities, and key partners, to ensure effective communication, policy alignment, and consistent operational standards. Support leadership in cultivating and strengthening collaborative relationships that enhance security measures across airline operations and reinforce compliance with international requirements.
  • Oversee the development and upkeep of SOPs, processes, and work instructions, ensuring they remain accurate, accessible, compliant, and audit-ready. Monitor adherence and coordinate updates to maintain consistency and regulatory alignment.
  • Facilitate security and command centre projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and benefits are delivered while managing risks, dependencies, and change controls. Act as the command centre representative during network risk assessments processes.
  • Take charge of crises management and emergency response planning, coordinating training exercise and drills to ensure readiness and resilience in handling unforeseen events. Plan and execute drills simulating various emergency scenarios, maintaining a constant state of readiness to effectively respond to potential threats towards the airline or its network operations.
  • Ensure the effective collection, analysis, and dissemination of security data and intelligence by directing and monitoring team activities. Validate accuracy and relevance of outputs, and require timely delivery of clear, comprehensive reports to senior management that provide actionable insights into the organizations security posture.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team (workforce planning, rosters, objectives, performance reviews, skills development, succession etc.), provide a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Hold a Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum of 8+ years of Security experience.
  • Possess an ICAO AVSEC Professional Manager certification (or equivalent), or at least 8 years of relevant experience in the military, security, police, or comparable fields involving security operations responsibility.
  • Have knowledge of ICAO, IATA, GCAA, TSA, and GDPR standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of aviation security standards (Annex 17, Doc 8973, Doc 9811), GDPR, ICAO, IATA, GCAA, TSA, and risk management frameworks.
  • Be skilled in threat assessment and crisis decision‑making, with strong interpersonal abilities to engage regulators, law enforcement, and internal teams.
  • Be familiar with security systems, document fraud detection, and digital compliance tools.
