Scrum Master - Banking (225-717)

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team in the banking sector. As a Scrum Master, you will lead and coach agile practices within cross-functional teams while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. You will be responsible for helping the team adhere to agile principles, removing impediments, and facilitating successful delivery of valuable products to customers. Your expertise in agile methodologies, especially in the context of banking, will be crucial in aligning project goals with business objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies effectively.
• Encourage and coach the team in adhering to agile best practices consistently.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog efficiently.
• Identify, track, and help resolve technical and process-related impediments swiftly.
• Ensure the team understands and follows the Definition of Done for each deliverable.
• Foster a collaborative environment across all team members and stakeholders involved.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on any changes.
• Develop and maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are progressing.
• Facilitate effective communication both within the team and with external parties.
• Coach the team to develop innovative solutions and improve quality of delivery.
• Ensure projects comply with banking standards and regulatory requirements continuously.
• Act as a change agent promoting the Agile mindset across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field is required.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant agile certification is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a banking environment.
• Thorough understanding of banking operations and industry regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage varied stakeholders.
