Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our secondary school faculty. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of science, fostering a love for exploration and discovery. Responsibilities

  • Foster an inclusive classroom culture that accommodates students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and resources for the science department.
  • Coordinate with parents and guardians to address individual student needs and progress.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular science-related clubs and events to engage students.
  • Ensure compliance with school and board policies and educational norms in science teaching.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or equivalent field of study required.
  • State teaching certification or licensure for secondary education in science.
  • Minimum of two years' proven experience teaching science at a secondary school level.
  • Strong communication skills for effectively delivering comprehensive scientific concepts.
  • Competence in organizing and conducting scientific experiments safely and accurately.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and levels.
  • Commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive educational environment for all students.
