Job Description
Canadian University Dubai invites applications for part-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor within the School of Management for the Fall Semester 2026–2027, starting 31 August 2026.
The School seeks qualified academics with strong teaching capability, relevant professional or industry engagement, and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of management and business disciplines.
Appointments are subject to course offerings, enrolment requirements, and institutional needs.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD from an accredited university in a relevant discipline within management, business, finance, accounting, economics, marketing, human resources, leadership, or a closely related field.
Candidates should have experience teaching undergraduate and, where applicable, graduate courses in higher education. They must demonstrate effective teaching, strong student engagement, and the ability to connect academic theory with contemporary business practice.
Excellent communication skills in English and a strong commitment to student-centred teaching, academic quality, and inclusive learning are required.
Previous teaching experience in a UAE or international higher education institution is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Experience teaching relevant management or business courses at undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Evidence of effective teaching and student engagement.
- Experience preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, case discussions, and applied learning activities.
- Ability to design and use appropriate teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
- Experience providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Ability to support course delivery in accordance with approved syllabi, learning outcomes, and University standards.
- Relevant industry, consulting, executive, or professional experience is preferred.
- Experience with case-based teaching, business simulations, applied projects, experiential learning, MBA teaching, or executive education is an advantage.

- Human Resources and Leadership, including Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership, Talent Management, Performance Management, Training and Development, Change Management, and related areas.
- Finance, Accounting, and Economics, including Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Investment, Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Economics, Managerial Economics, and related areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned part-time undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the School of Management.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, case discussions, and applied learning activities.
- Develop and use appropriate teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
- Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Support student learning through consultation, academic guidance, and appropriate student support.
- Ensure that course delivery aligns with approved syllabi, learning outcomes, assessment requirements, and University standards.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student progress.
- Support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the School of Management.
- Contribute to a collegial, inclusive, and professionally engaged academic environment.
- Participate in relevant academic meetings, course coordination activities, and quality assurance processes, where required.
Appointment Period
The appointments are part-time and limited to Fall Semester 2026, starting August 31, 2026 and ending December 30, 2026.
