School Nurse - Immediate Start

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality medical care to our students and staff.

Job Purpose

:Support the school in managing all health-related issues and in maintaining appropriate systems that fulfill DHA/HAAD compliance requirement

s
Key Accountabilitie

• s:Deal with students’ health issues including administering drugs, vaccines and other appropriate treatment
• s.Check on lunch boxes and the food served in the school canteen to support the school’s agenda on maintaining a healthy living environment; as well as undertaking healthy eating talks with student
• s.Support Health and Safety in school by liaising with Facilities Manager on regular check
• s.Manage all issues with DHA/HAAD including compliance, approvals and statistic
• s.Make sure all First Aid Kits are appropriately maintaine
• d.Undertake School Medicals with specific year group
• s.Communicating with Parents regarding health and safety issue
• s.Administer vaccinations in the school (DHA/HAAD approved only
• ).Communicate and liaise with Children’s Health department at the DHA/HAA
• D.Support, manage and caring for children with very specific health issues e.g. diabetic student
• s.Member of the Health and Safety Committe
