Job Description
The Senior Officer in the Dispatch Department will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker who can efficiently plan and release material schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing both shortages and excesses. The role demands a proactive approach to developing and implementing purchasing strategies that align with the companys objectives. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring the best value and quality for the organization. Strong negotiation skills are essential to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. The Senior Officer will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders in compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate records to support decision-making processes. Collaboration with team members and the procurement manager is crucial to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in procurement practices. A deep understanding of procurement processes, coupled with excellent communication skills, will be key to success in this role.

Principal Accountabilities
Efficiently plan and release material schedules to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or excessesbr Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies that align with organizational objectivesbr Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilitiesbr Negotiate prices terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible dealsbr Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and proceduresbr Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and other critical data to support decisionmakingbr Review and analyze all vendorssuppliers supply and price options to ensure the best value for the companybr Develop plans for purchasing equipment services and supplies to meet business needsbr Ensure that all products and supplies meet highquality standards and specificationsbr Maintain and update a comprehensive list of suppliers including their qualifications delivery times and potential for future developmentbr Collaborate with team members and the procurement manager to complete duties as needed ensuring seamless operationsbr Demonstrate a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills
