SAP FICO Consultant

As an SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant, you will be a key player in implementing, customizing, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions to meet our organization's financial and accounting needs. Your expertise in SAP FICO modules, financial processes, and business analysis will contribute to enhancing our financial operations and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Analyze current processes and propose SAP FICO solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• Configure SAP FICO modules based on business requirements, including setting up chart of accounts, company codes, cost centers, profit centers, and more.
• Customize settings to align with financial policies and practices.
• Design and create financial reports using SAP FICO reporting tools, ensuring accurate and timely access to financial data.
• Develop customized reports to meet specific business needs.
• Manage SAP FICO general ledger functionalities, including posting entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
• Configure SAP cost center accounting, profit center accounting, and internal order management to track and analyze costs and profits.
• Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue generation strategies.
• Collaborate with other SAP module consultants (e.g., MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules.
• Address data flow and consistency between modules.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proper utilization of SAP FICO functionalities and features.
• Provide ongoing support to resolve user queries and issues.
• Stay updated on SAP FICO updates, patches, and enhancements, and evaluate their potential impact on business processes.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
• Identify and resolve SAP FICO-related issues, troubleshoot errors, and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
• Create and maintain documentation related to SAP FICO configurations, processes, and user guides.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant SAP certifications (SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting) are advantageous.
• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant or similar role, with a strong track record in implementing and optimizing SAP FICO solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and cost controlling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex financial and technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills to lead SAP FICO implementations and enhancements.
• Adaptability to changing business requirements and technological advancements.
• Ethical conduct and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
