SAP Business Process Lead - 18 Months Contract

About the role: 

We are looking for a SAP Business Process Lead to join our SAP BPL Team in GEM on an 18-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for providing project, business, and development support to the GEM Supply Chain. You will support applications and contribute to technology-related projects aimed at facilitating efficient operations and optimizing existing processes.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Spearhead and safeguard SAP ECC to S4 HANA transition in the GEM region.
• Capture, define and translate Business requirements
• Perform unit and formal testing including test cases, test scripts and test data preparation, communicate testing results to Corporate IT
• Supervise and safeguard the Go-Lives, perform hypercare activities and resolve the issues
• Providing high level support and coordination of support for SAP and other Global and Local applications and systems ensuring a high level of responsiveness and satisfaction
• Log and manage Tickets for SAP support and Global and Local applications to remediate disturbances in the day-to-day operations
• Collaborate with Corporate IT on issue resolution
• Manage SAP Users Requests
• Identify areas for improvement
• Work with department colleagues to deliver solutions
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert by providing expertise and support on SAP Business Processes and Systems.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing reported problems and working to understand and correct problems as well as recommending workarounds
• Creating and maintaining all required technical documentation
  
  

 

What are we looking for in you?

• Education level: HBO level or MBO and a minimum of 5 years in SAP business process experience
• SAP Material Management (MM) Sales & Distribution (SD) Warehouse Management(WM) knowledge is a must and EWM is a plus; certifications are an asset.
• Experience with minimum 2 SAP full cycle roll-outs
• Strong problem resolution and analytical skills
• Experience in facilitating the change process
• Good written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and willingness to learn additional software programs
• Pro-active, self-reliant and an effective team player who takes initiative and is creative in finding solutions/ solving problems
• Motivated, flexible, accurate and critical and able to work independently
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional, global environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
