SAP ABAP Consultant

We are looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant who is specialized in developing, customizing, and maintaining SAP software solutions. This role involves collaborating with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical experts to design, implement, and optimize SAP applications using ABAP programming language. The SAP ABAP Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of SAP systems to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP programming language to address business needs. Create custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within the SAP environment.
• Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze business processes. Translate functional specifications into technical designs.
• Customization and Enhancement: Customize and enhance standard SAP functionalities to align with business processes. Develop new functionalities and modules as required by the organization.
• Design and implement data interfaces between SAP and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and integrity.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize SAP applications for better performance and efficiency. Fine-tune ABAP code to improve system responsiveness.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, system errors, and defects. Utilize debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems.
• Create technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and code comments. Maintain documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the stability and reliability of SAP applications.
• Work closely with functional teams, technical teams, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions and successful project delivery.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices. Continuously improve technical skills and adapt to changing industry trends.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer, with a strong understanding of SAP technologies and ABAP programming language.
• Certification in SAP ABAP is advantageous.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities relevant to the organization's industry and business processes.
• Understanding of SAP development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori development is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies is beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic may be advantageous for certain roles.
