Job Description

A Sandwich Maker at our Lebanese Restaurant plays an integral role in delivering high-quality and authentic culinary experiences to our valued customers. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to craft a range of traditional Lebanese sandwiches using fresh and seasonal ingredients. As a Sandwich Maker, you are responsible not only for assembling delicious and visually appealing sandwiches but also for maintaining the standards that keep our clientele loyal and satisfied. The position involves a combination of food preparation, customer service, and teamwork. With an emphasis on authenticity, your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to our restaurant's reputation for offering the best Lebanese sandwiches in town.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble a variety of Lebanese sandwiches to customer specifications.
  • Ensure all sandwich ingredients are fresh and stored at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workstation throughout your shift.
  • Follow food safety procedures strictly to ensure customer health and safety.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to efficiently complete customer orders.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries and checking orders for quality and accuracy.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders and answering food-related inquiries.
  • Participate in menu planning and suggest new sandwich ideas regularly.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including those regarding punctuality and attendance.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance needs immediately.
  • Work with the management to ensure a continuous supply of needed sandwich ingredients.
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning at the start and end of the shift.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a Lebanese restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and traditional ingredients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Capacity to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
