Job Description: Sales Staff & Store Accountant
1. Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to fill a combined role as Sales Staff & Store Accountant. This unique position is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in customer-facing sales while possessing strong analytical skills to manage store-level finances. You will be the critical link between driving revenue on the shop floor and ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting behind the scenes. Your performance will directly impact both customer satisfaction and the store's profitability.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Customer Service (Approx. 60%)

• Engage with customers proactively, understand their needs, and drive sales to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions (cash, card, digital payments), and handle returns or exchanges accurately.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure stock is well-presented on the shop floor, and assist in inventory replenishment.
  

B. Store Accounting & Financial Management (Approx. 40%)

• 
  Perform daily cash management, including reconciliation of the POS system, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining a petty cash fund
• .Record all store-level financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., sales revenue, expenses, inventory receipts)
• .Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciling sales accounts and preparing basic financial reports for store management
• .Monitor and report on key financial metrics such as daily sales, discounts, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• .Support the store manager by tracking operational expenses and helping to identify cost-saving opportunities
• .Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles and company financial policies
