Job Description

The Sales Promoter in the cosmetics industry plays a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility and driving sales in retail environments. This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about beauty products and have the ability to influence consumer purchasing decisions. As a Sales Promoter for cosmetics, you will be the face of the brand, directly interacting with customers, demonstrating products, and providing beauty consultations. Your goal will be to increase the brand’s market share by promoting specific products and educating customers on the benefits and features. Your efforts will directly contribute to the company’s growth, making you a crucial member of the sales team.


Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell cosmetics products to new and existing customers in retail outlets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to highlight the unique features of cosmetics items.
  • Provide personalized beauty consultations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate cosmetic products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store staff to facilitate promotional activities.
  • Achieve sales targets set by the company within the specified timeframe.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to management for product improvement.
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized.
  • Keep up to date with new and existing beauty products and emerging industry trends.
  • Attend training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques regularly.
  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to enhance overall brand awareness in the market.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers to foster long-term satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or the cosmetics industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to impact consumer purchasing decisions.
  • A genuine interest and passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in cosmetology is an advantage.
