Job Description

The Sales Promoter position is a dynamic and engaging role crucial for driving product sales and building customer relationships in the retail space. As a Sales Promoter, you will play an essential part in increasing brand awareness and boosting product sales by interacting directly with customers. You will often work in retail settings, and your primary goal is to inform potential customers about the products, answer their questions, and persuade them to make a purchase. Your role requires not only a persuasive attitude but also a keen understanding of customer needs and preferences. Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers to promote and sell products effectively.
  • Demonstrate product features through live demonstrations and vivid presentations.
  • Provide detailed information and answer customer queries regarding products.
  • Collaborate with store staff to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays in a neat and professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for restocking needs.
  • Report daily/weekly sales activities and customer feedback to supervisors.
  • Achieve or exceed personal sales targets set by the management team.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and competitors' offerings.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required for this role.
  • Proven experience in retail sales or product promotion preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and sales motivation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management purposes.
