Job Description

A Sales Promoter is a dynamic and enterprising individual who is primarily responsible for increasing sales and maximizing brand awareness. Working closely with vendors, retailers, and customers, this role is crucial in driving the success of product promotions and generating increased sales revenue. A Sales Promoter should possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a good understanding of marketing techniques. They often work in various environments including retail stores, trade shows, or events, engaging with potential customers to promote products and services. The ideal candidate is proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build rapport with a diverse range of people, contributing to improved sales performance and brand loyalty. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly sales targets effectively.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and promote products accordingly.
  • Coordinate activities for product demonstrations at retail locations and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure promotional materials are in place and updated.
  • Collect feedback from customers to assess satisfaction and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze sales trends to determine product opportunities and challenges.
  • Assist in setting up visual displays to enhance product visibility and attraction.
  • Report sales activities and results to the management team regularly.
  • Stay informed of industry trends to better support sales efforts and innovation.
  • Train new sales promoters to ensure team consistency and performance excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for different environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet objectives.
  • Adaptability to work in different venues and changing circumstances quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in task execution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible with a positive approach to challenges.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of digital marketing tools beneficial.
