Anchored in these values, we are now looking for a Sales Lead who will elevate Versuni’s presence across the Middle East & Africa.

The Strategic Sales Lead will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth and market leadership for Versuni in Middle East & Africa region. The role requires a seasoned Sales leader with a deep understanding of local market dynamics, strong customer engagement capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering revenue and profitability targets in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.


The Impact You’ll Make


Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Defines and implements the go-to-market strategy aligned with global and regional priorities
  • Establishes our brand as the Category Expert Leader through strong retail & distributor partnerships
  • Identifies new business opportunities and partnerships to accelerate growth
  • Drives structural retail transformation by influencing shopper journeys by shaping retail behaviours through authority and vision


Customer and Channel Management

  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships with key customers and distributors
  • Leads annual negotiations, joint business planning, and ensures flawless execution of customer plans
  • Optimizes channel mix and expands distribution footprint with a focus on modern trade, e-commerce, and emerging platforms


Sales Operations & Performance Management

  • Drives sales performance through robust forecasting, target setting, and performance tracking
  • Manages trade investments and ensures ROI-driven decisions


Cross-functional Leadership

  • Leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing sales team
  • Collaborates closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Global/Regional teams
  • Provides strong commercial input into demand planning, pricing, innovation launches, and promotional planning


Market Intelligence & Insights

  • Monitors competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer behaviour
  • Translates insights into actionable plans and commercial innovation


The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and commercial leadership roles, ideally within consumer electronics and/or FMCG industries
  • Team management experience is a must-have requirement
  • Proven track record of managing multi-market distributor networks in the Middle East & Africa region
  • Deep knowledge of the local market retail landscape and key accounts in Middle East
  • Experienced in managing P&L
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and business acumen
  • Proven ability to influence industry practices and shape retail ecosystems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
