Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to drive sales and business development in the trading of heavy machinery, construction equipment, and industrial solutions across the UAE and GCC region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network of clients, experience with tenders and project-based sales, and familiarity with working with malls, government entities, and large contractors. Additionally, experience in a dealership selling brand-new equipment is essential. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with a solid understanding of sales processes and compliance requirements in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the heavy machinery and industrial equipment sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, government departments, facility managers, and mall managements across the GCC.
  • Participate in tender processes, prepare quotations, and follow up on project submissions.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through strategic prospecting, follow-ups, and customer retention.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and quotation to negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales support.
  • Market & Product Knowledge
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, equipment specifications, competitor pricing, and customer demands.
  • Advise customers on suitable machinery options, pricing, and financing solutions based on their operational needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients and develop repeat business opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries, handle complaints, and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide product demonstrations, arrange site visits, and participate in trade shows or exhibitions as necessary.
  • Sales Administration & Reporting
  • Prepare accurate sales quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Ensure proper documentation, contracts, and compliance with company policies.
  • Submit regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in the heavy machinery trading industry within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong portfolio and relationships with key industry players, suppliers, and clients in the region.
  • Experience in trading, sourcing, and selling construction, earthmoving, lifting, or industrial equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, cranes, bulldozers, generators, trucks).

Technical & Market Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of machinery specifications, brands (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Volvo, Hitachi, etc.), and resale values.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation, logistics, and customs clearance processes in the GCC.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and relationship management.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
