Job Description

The Sales Executive - Pre-Owned is a crucial role within our automotive dealership, responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles to clients and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This individual will work closely with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the sales process, from initial inquiry to the final sale. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive market, excellent communication skills, and a determined sales approach. The position requires someone who can build lasting relationships with clients, is motivated by targets, and is committed to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information about pre-owned vehicle options.
  • Conduct test drives and demonstrate the features of available vehicles.
  • Negotiate pricing and payment options to secure the best deal for both parties.
  • Generate and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed about the current inventory and industry market trends.
  • Prepare sales documentation and ensure all paperwork complies with legal requirements.
  • Follow up with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Participate in training programs to keep skills and product knowledge up to date.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track sales and client communication.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences to assist in stock selection and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in automotive sales, specifically pre-owned vehicles, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex vehicle information clearly.
  • Aptitude for negotiation and problem-solving in sales scenarios.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and commitment to sales targets.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as required by the dealership.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to conduct test drives.
