Job Description

The Sales Executive for the Home Division at our company plays a pivotal role in driving sales efforts and expanding market presence in the home goods sector. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential clients, fostering and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and consistently achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of home products and have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the home goods industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt in a fast-paced market. The Sales Executive will work closely with other departments to align sales strategies with overall company goals, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term business partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets and margins.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the home goods sector.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeated business.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate customer needs and improve product offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Conduct market research to identify competitors' strategies and adjust accordingly.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the brand.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and complaints.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to ensure a highly skilled sales team.
  • Manage account receivables to maintain a healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience in the home goods industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales performance tools effectively.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to handle client concerns promptly.
