Job Description

A Sales Executive for Construction Equipment is responsible for driving sales growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients. This role demands an in-depth understanding of construction machinery and the ability to convey complex product details effectively. Successful candidates must exhibit strong negotiation skills and possess the capability to develop sales strategies that align with the company's objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for construction equipment.
  • Identify and establish contact with potential sales leads in the industry.
  • Manage and enhance relationships with existing clients to drive repeat sales.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and emerging needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers to showcase equipment features.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions of sales with clients.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with ongoing promotions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and after-sales support.
  • Report regularly on sales performance metrics and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.
  • Collaborate with the product team to gain insights into product improvements and launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in construction equipment or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of construction machinery and equipment is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Experienced in using CRM software to manage sales activities and client information.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and prospects.
