The Sales Excellence Manager (Gulf & Caucasus ) is pivotal in driving commercial excellence to support profitable growth. The role focuses on transforming business processes and equipping sales and customer service teams with the tools, capabilities, and mindset required to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Management: Processes and Tools
• Own pipeline management and related processes, including demand discovery and planning.
• Establish strategic demand generation goals at regional, country, and product levels, collaborating with sales leads to ensure realistic demand planning.
• Drive demand execution by fostering integration and collaboration across teams and demand sources.
• Evaluate the impact of campaigns and initiatives, documenting best practices and lessons learned for cross-regional sharing.
• Provide bi-weekly pipeline updates and analyses using tools such as Power BI, offering insights for reviews at regional, global, and executive levels.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and S&OP teams.
• Equip sales teams with processes, tools, and methods to embed key capabilities and drive efficiency.
• Roll out best practices across sales and customer service teams.
Salesforce Leadership and Optimization
• Lead the adoption and strategic use of Salesforce as a comprehensive CRM tool for business development.
• Drive the rollout and accountability for Salesforce usage, ensuring data quality and utility.
• Lead improvement projects to establish a clear vision for Salesforce and implement change programs to support its adoption.
• Optimize workflows, access rights, and alerts within Salesforce to enhance efficiency and insight.
• Evaluate existing tools for sales teams, identifying gaps and recommending solutions to improve daily efficiency.
• Provide training and ongoing support to encourage adherence to best practices.
Project Management
• Manage key strategic commercial projects, structuring problems, and driving solutions through data-driven methodologies.
• Facilitate the definition, tracking, and achievement of key operational and strategic initiatives.
• Develop project scopes, involving stakeholders, and coordinating resources to ensure seamless execution.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Monitor and communicate project performance, risks, and updates to senior management.
Commercial Reporting and Budget Management
• Lead annual budget processes and manage re-budgeting exercises.
• Support site and global business reviews, as well as Board-level reporting with actionable insights and data.
Leadership and People Management
• Build and manage diverse relationships, fostering collaboration across global and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure smooth information flow and action planning with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Lead and motivate team members, delegating tasks effectively.
• Model organizational values and demonstrate desired behaviors in business dealings.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Postgraduate degree in business or management (e.g., MBA).
• Certification in sales, commercial excellence, or project management is an advantage.
• 10–12 years of B2B experience with the ability to lead independently.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce modules and proven experience in driving adoption.
• Expertise in value-selling and identifying growth opportunities by analyzing customer challenges and value drivers.
• Familiarity with margin expansion principles and gross margin analysis by account and SKU.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple data sources and derive actionable insights.
• Experience in multinational environments and working with culturally diverse teams.
• Strategic thinker with a sales-oriented mindset and robust commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging market research and competitive analysis to improve performance.
