Job Description

The Sales Engineer position is a vital role in driving the growth of our company by combining technical expertise with strong sales acumen. This role involves working closely with the sales team to understand the needs of our clients and provide them with the best possible solutions, acting as the technical authority during the sales process. As a Sales Engineer, you will leverage your deep understanding of our products and services to demonstrate their value, engage with prospective clients, and ensure their requirements are fully met. You will be the bridge between the sales team and the technical team, ensuring seamless communication and support to achieve sales targets and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong technical background, and a keen ability to solve complex business problems through innovative solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to secure and close sales opportunities.
  • Identify and understand customer needs and provide tailored product solutions.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers during the sales process.
  • Ensure client requirements are met by collaborating with internal technical teams.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements for clients.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and competitive products.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Lead training sessions for the sales team on product and technical updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering role or similar customer-facing position.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging client requests.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and attend industry events as needed.
