Job Description

A Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in a company by merging technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products for which a certain level of expertise is needed. They assist in design and development, scientific research, or any organization involved in new technologies. Sales Engineers frequently serve as crucial links between the company and its clients, utilizing their expertise to identify client needs and improve the sales strategy. By working closely with sales teams, they help to identify and quantify potential sales opportunities, work with development teams to adapt or modify products, and ensure that the customer fully understands the capabilities and specifications of the products or services being offered.


Responsibilities

  • Provide training and after-sales support to clients to boost product satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify and develop new sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering or a technical sales support role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of products and solutions relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
