Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive new business opportunities and support existing clients. You will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions that effectively address their challenges. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and persuasively will be essential in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position requires a proactive approach, as well as exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively address client needs.
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise, demonstrating product capabilities to potential customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct on-site visits and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing product benefits.
  • Assist clients in designing and implementing solutions tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing inquiries.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote products.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including cost estimates and timelines for implementation.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improve service offerings.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and closing sales to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical sales or engineering role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry-specific products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear presentations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
