Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, allowing them to drive sales growth and establish strong customer relationships. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, demonstrating technical solutions, and effectively communicating the benefits of our products to potential clients. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our sales and engineering teams to ensure that our offerings meet the demands of the market, while also identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to tailor sales strategies and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design tailored solutions for clients.
  • Present and demonstrate product capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategies to increase sales revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, quotes, and technical documents.
  • Manage and address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on product usage.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop effective sales materials.
  • Track and report on sales metrics to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to convey them clearly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Proficient with CRM software and sales analytics tools preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
