Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for overseeing the sales activities of the company and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. They will lead a team of sales professionals, set sales targets, and develop sales plans to achieve company objectives. The Sales Director will also build and maintain relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and provide market insights to inform sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's customer base.
- Provide market insights and analysis to inform sales strategies and identify areas for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and launch new sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, and regularly report on sales activities to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales leadership or a senior sales position.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
