We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our UAE commercial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and achieving ambitious growth targets in alignment with our regional and global business objectives. The Sales Director must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving transformation, and leading in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the UAE sales strategy in line with corporate goals.
Identify market opportunities, define target segments, and establish go-to-market plans.
Build and lead the annual business plan, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
Lead the commercial preparation for the new local production facility, aligning product portfolio and pricing strategies.
Team Development & Leadership
Build, coach, and mentor a high-performance sales team.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Foster an inclusive and respectful working environment, sensitive to multicultural dynamics.
Provide regular training, feedback, and performance management to support team growth.
Sales Management
Drive top-line growth and market share expansion across key channels (retailers, distributors, projects, applicators).
Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts directly.
Monitor performance through KPIs and adjust plans to ensure targets are achieved.
Ensure effective pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, technical, operations, and supply chain teams to align business priorities.
Support product launches, promotions, and pricing strategy in collaboration with product marketing.
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support innovation and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Chemical preferred); MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the construction chemicals or building materials industry.
Proven track record in strategy development, implementation, and business transformation.
Strong ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in complex environments.
Experience in managing multi-cultural teams and operating in diverse regional markets.
Strong customer orientation and commercial acumen.
Languages
Fluent Arabic and English – both written and spoken.
