Job Description for Sales Coordinator - Used Cars

As a Sales Coordinator for Used Cars, you will play a pivotal role in bridging sales efforts and operational execution, ensuring streamlined processes and enhanced customer satisfaction. You will work closely with sales executives and the administrative team to facilitate seamless sales transactions while contributing to the strategic goals of the dealership. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry, specifically in relation to pre-owned vehicles. You will be responsible for managing various aspects, from inventory management and customer service to paperwork processing and coordination with financial departments. A strong communicator, you will also handle all inbound and outbound inquiries related to used cars, ensuring a positive customer journey from initial contact to post-purchase.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Manage inventory lists and update the dealership’s database regularly.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries about used cars.
  • Assist customers in scheduling test drives; handle logistics seamlessly.
  • Facilitate proper and efficient processing of sales-related documentation.
  • Ensure product knowledge for all used vehicles to provide informed guidance.
  • Collaborate with finance departments to aid in the approval process.
  • Monitor used car market trends to optimize dealership offerings.
  • Provide support during sales events; assist in event planning and execution.
  • Help in problem-solving and provide customers with excellent service.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules for sold vehicles to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and distribute sales and inventory reports to management team.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an automotive or sales coordinator role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; detail-oriented work approach.
  • Proficient with dealership management systems and CRM software platforms.
  • A solid understanding of used car sales processes and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across departments.
