Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of the sales department. This position requires a dynamic and highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks while providing stellar support to the sales team and their activities. The Sales Coordinator will assist in the preparation of sales reports, maintain sales records, and perform a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the sales department functions efficiently. Collaboration and communication with different stakeholders, both within and outside the company, will be crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to meet the department's various needs.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the sales process for optimal efficiency.
  • Support the sales team in creating sales proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and timely information.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Act as a communication hub between the sales team and other departments.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls for the sales team.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues where possible.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of sales contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure sales materials and promotional literature are updated and available.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights regarding trends and improvements.
  • Manage logistics for sales events such as trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and promotional strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or sales coordination role is required.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle various tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
