Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and ensuring that sales operations run smoothly and effectively. As a key link between the various departments, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for facilitating communication, managing information, and assisting in the preparation of sales reports. This position demands excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude to efficiently manage multiple tasks. Sales Coordinators are expected to maintain back-end systems, assist in strategy execution, and provide critical support to sales representatives in their fieldwork. This role typically involves working closely with other team members to anticipate and solve problems, ultimately contributing to achieving company targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material is maintained and available.
  • Respond to complaints from customers and address any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and assist in the creation of sales reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness to meet delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to resolve invoicing issues and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and update customer records, files, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide assistance to the sales representatives on an as-needed basis, optimizing their sales effectiveness.
  • Support the sales manager in lead generation activities and follow-up campaigns.
  • Monitor sales metrics to provide timely reports to the sales department and management.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination within the sales team and across different departments.
  • Organize and execute sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales or other administrative positions is an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office and CRM software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills to manage various activities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and under limited supervision.
  • Problem-solving attitude with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
