Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in the sales team by managing and supporting various sales activities and processes. The primary goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the sales department, facilitate communication between sales representatives, clients, and other departments, and assist the sales team in achieving their targets. This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or customer service, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in using CRM software. As a Sales Coordinator, you will report directly to the sales manager and play a crucial role in the team’s success.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales processing of orders and contracts for team efficiency.
  • Maintain customer databases and update client information regularly.
  • Provide support to sales representatives and respond to customer queries.
  • Prepare sales-related documents including contracts, reports, and presentations.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
  • Track sales performance metrics and report results to the sales manager.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies.
  • Liaise between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
  • Handle customer complaints and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support promotional activities and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Coordinator or in similar role.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with CRM software.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities needed.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
