Role Overview

The Sales Capture Manager is responsible for driving strategic business growth by identifying, shaping, negotiating, and closing complex sales opportunities. This role leads the entire sales lifecycle, from opportunity origination and qualification through solution development, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record of winning large, strategic deals and building trusted relationships with senior executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


  • Originate, qualify, and pursue new enterprise sales opportunities that align with Udacity's growth objectives.
  • Lead complex and strategic sales pursuits from qualification through contract signature.
  • Develop winning sales strategies, value propositions, and account plans to address client business challenges.
  • Shape and position integrated solutions by leveraging Udacity's learning and workforce transformation offerings.
  • Manage the complete deal lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, proposal development, pricing, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across target organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Customer Success, Delivery, Marketing, and Leadership to develop tailored client solutions.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and revenue forecast within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, profitability, and growth targets.


  • Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, account management, or capture management.
  • Demonstrated success in selling and closing large, complex, and multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and opportunity-shaping capabilities.
  • Experience engaging with and influencing senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to navigate complex procurement processes.


  • Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience selling learning, EdTech, SaaS, talent development, workforce transformation, or digital solutions.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with solution-based and consultative sales methodologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or education environment.
